Hi My name is Richard Lee I found your site on the Google Search Engine after trying for several years to find out about this rare marque. I have owned my bike for nearly 6 years and bought it as a non runner. I had heard stories of the bike but never guessed I would own it. It was registered in 1988 Frame No KN4068 and has what seems to be (by engine number) a 1984 GPZ900R engine. When I bought it, it had Dymag wheels (18" Rear & 16" Front) which I changed for ZZR600 17" wheels. The original forks were from the doner GPz and have been changed for ZX9R C1 Forks mounted in Harris adjustable offset yolks. Brakes are also ZZR600 4-pot callipers. | |||

Swing arm is a JMC under braced unit with white power rear shock. Carburettors are Kiehin 34mm CR Racing Smooth bores with S&B filters. Seat unit was originally a Harris but looked out of proportion to the extremely large tank so was changed for a Suzuki GSXR SRAD style single seat. I have the twin headlight top half faring but have never fitted it, I may do this in future. The bike was painted fluorescent orange and dark metalic grey when bought and the suzuki seat was painted the same colour scheme when purchased. The alloy tank had faded in the sun so was also due for some paint to match the seat. But a small leak appeared around the fuel tap mounting so I took it to be welded and the welder left the filler cap in and exploded it. After seeking lots of bad advice I decided to have a go at fixing it myself, and so I cut around the bottom edge and beat it back into shape (a long job) finally having it welded back together. | |||

The latest thing that I have done is to fit a Micron Stainless steel exhaust system with a carbon can which tidies it up nicely. The whole thing is to be painted in a Kawasaki green colour scheme to finish it off. |
